Portable and Fixed devices

A PSD (Not to be confused with Photoshop Document) is a small hard drive that can be hooked up to a computer, much like a slave drive. This is designed to hold all kinds of data, but retains a small size so that the Data can be moved from place to place. It’s much like a Pen drive except it is much large in capacity ranging up to 200GB and onwards. Common PSD’s are much larger then these in modern times and are ideal for people who want to store things such as a large amount of photographs and then edit them later.

These devices are extremely handy when it comes to recovering lost Data if a computer is not working or broken. There size enables you to be able to restore the computers OS (if needed) and even most of the files (providing they’re backed up) with little to no mess.
