A flash memory card is much like a pen drive in that it can store Data, and be moved around with ease, being able to get data to other places without the aid of wires. These storage devices are also much more compact then the Pen drives. These are typically used in such things as Digital Cameras, Laptops, and Mobile Phones and in rare cases MP3 players. (Although, some flash drives can be used as MP3 players) These flash drives can be removed, and then used on the computer to check the Data. They can also retain data without the use of power.
Memory cards are also used in such things as Video Game Consoles, the play station would often run of memory cards in the older versions. These could be removed and used with other systems, as well as controlling/removing Data from the cards with full freedom.
