An input device is typically a device that is input into the computer. It is a device is a piece of computer hardware that is used to provide Data to process in order to perform a specific task. Such as sending signals to the computer in order to complete a task (such as scanning in an image of something with a scanner) required input devices to work the computer include things such as the Keyboard and mouse.
Other optional, but useful input devices to have are things such as Cameras and Scanners as well as gaming controllers. This makes it a lot easier for you to many things, such as editing photo’s and playing computer games. Some other input devices that are used to aid sound/recording could be things such as Keyboards and Microphones. Each one of these has a special jack, represented by a color.
