A twisted pair cable is a wire in which two wires of a single circuit are twisted together in order to prevent electromagnetic interference. Many twisted pair cables come with a covering in order to protect the inside of the cable itself. The plastic jacket on the outside also protects from electromagnetic interference.
Optic fiber cables are cable that consists of plastic layers and often uses very thin rays of light in order to be able to send signals to your computer so that you're able to access the internet. Optical Fiber cable are currently the fastest way of browsing the internet, although things like Ethernet cables are still widely used amongst us.
